The rooms have been relatively well redone. They are clean but you can definitely tell that they are old rooms with a decent amount of wear and tear. And the outside is honestly a bit scary. Open electrical running through the hallway. And chunks of concrete in the ceiling that look like they're about to fall. The overall it's not a bad place for the price but it's a little bit scary
I don't want to give the impression that the room was unacceptable, because it was nice. We like things to be very clean and we felt less than really comfortable. Towels, etc were terribly rough though clean. Each morning the breakfast buffet was hot, delicious and plentiful.
This hotel has been updated, and it was comfortable, the door lock chain was broke off, which bothered me since its an outside door. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and this is conveniently located off the freeway
We stayed in this room otw to a uga game, and I was thrown back by the negative comments about this place. The room was clean, and they even made arrangements for me to stay in a downstairs room bc I had just had back surgery. The staff is nice and welcoming , and the breakfast was to be expected. I give this place an 8 out of 10. The price was the best thing. And to me, a clean room and a great price is what I like. And the bed was comfy too, and the linens were clean.
A few hotels in the area, but this one's rates were more reasonable, therefore I chose it. Wasn't a bad choice. The rooms were well kept. No little creepy crawling bugs. The service was great, and I will commend RJ at the front desk for being so industrious. Always doing something, and at the same time being attentive to the guests. A remarkable person.
Check in was super easy! I asked for a two bed room on a balcony and the representative accommodated my requests easily. The beds were clean, neat and the room was nice and cool. The bathroom had fresh towels and the shower was pleasant. I would stay again.
Right off interstate. Gas station, restaurants and Walmart nearby. Staff was great. Quick check in. Quiet after midnight. Good 1 night stay for traveling. Also, remember you pay for what you get. This is an old hotel but it's convenient. Want best of best, stay at a $200 a night hotel.
